E siccome tale nomina io debbo a Lei, Signor Presidente, ed agli egregi signori componenti il Consiglio, così è un grato dovere inviare a tutte le S.S.L.L. i sensi del grato mio animo per una così alta prova di stima, la quale è soltanto giustificata dal grande amore ch’io porto alla nobilissima Arte Musicale, non già da meriti personali.
