Il mio parere è che le converrebbe di accettare la scrittura di Varese perché sarebbe per Lei un’ottima esperienza per la Salomè; ma ben inteso quando si trattasse di una effettiva scrittura con una paga ben definita perché so benissimo a che cosa si riducono i risultati pratici delle cosiddette “serate d’onore” – a pochi fiori e a poche lire. Dunque se il Sig. Indelicato le offre di farla cantare a Varese con una paga possibile accetti pure, altrimenti aspetti il suo debutto a Genova.

Ho pigliato nota che in Italia Ella continuerà a essere Miss Viola e non già l’imponente Mrs. Alan Parsons: in ogni modo alle due simpatiche amiche, la Miss e la Mrs., invio i miei più cordiali saluti
