La ringrazio della cortese sua risposta, e come accennai nella precedente mia, sarebbe utile che le cose procedessero così:

= Il Signor Pomini continuerà come pel passato a recarsi, quando occorra, presso l’On.e Amm.e Carlo Erba , per le opportune intelligenze riflettenti il modo d’esecuzione delle varie ordinazioni.

= Le ordinazioni stesse, e quanto altro riflette l’esecuzione amministrativa, cioè quali richieste di prezzi, di preventivi ecc. ecc. sarà necessario sieno inviate alla Direzione, la quale rimanendo così informata, potrà occuparsi di tutti i lavori e rispondere con cognizione di causa.

        In proposito, farei stampare degli appositi enveloppes che le manderei, onde servirsene per quanto sopra: pregherei perciò indicarmi un paio di formati che si possono ritenere più comodi. In tal modo poi si vede subito che si tratta del servizio di Casa Erba , e non si faranno più confusioni.

- Per la nuova tariffa etichette, poiché fu trattata e cominciata col ns. Sig Pomini , sarà meglio per questa volta condurla a compimento così, onde non portare ritardi.

In attesa d’indicazione per le buste, nuovamente la ringrazio e mi procuro il piacere di riverirla e ripetermi con stima

   Thank you for your courteous response. As I mentioned in my previous letter, it would be useful if things were to proceed in this manner:

-Signor Pomini will continue as in the past to go to the Honorable Administration Carlo Erba when necessary for information concerning how the various orders are to be executed.

-The orders themselves, and all else reflecting administrative execution, that is, requests for prices, estimates, etc. etc. must be sent to the Direction, so that it can oversee all of the work and respond as necessary with a properly informed understanding of the facts.

   In addition, I will have enveloppes[folders] printed and sent to you specifically for this purpose, if you would be so kind as to indicate which formats seem most convenient. This way it is immediately evident that the contents concern Casa Erba and there will be no more confusion.

   Regarding the new price for labels, since negotiations were begun with our Sig. Pomini, for this time it is better that they be concluded in this manner to avoid creating any delays.

   I await your indication for the folders,  meanwhile thanking you once again I have the pleasure of extending my regards, as always
