Volendo prendere in considerazione, se non per intero almeno in massima parte – i desiderata espostimi nella lettera 4 corr. ho il piacere farle noto d’avere stabilito, con decorrenza dal 1° Gennaio 1908, come segue:
a) Aumento di £.50. – mensili sullo stipendio da Lei percepito.
b) Interessenza sul totale importo noli, netti del per cento agli agenti teatrali
Con ciò intendo darle una novella prova della mia stima e della mia fiducia, lusingandomi che l’incremento ch’Ella saprà dare a codesta Filiale, varrà a confermare sempre più i miei sentimenti di affezione per la di Lei persona.

Following consideration of the greater part if not all of your requests in your letter of the 4th of this month, I am pleased to inform you that I have adjusted your position beginning from 1 January 1908 as follows:
a) An increase of £ 50 to your current monthly stipend.
b) A share of profits on rentals, after deduction of the percentage accorded to theatrical agents.
With this I intend to offer further proof of my respect and confidence in you, trusting that your capacity to ensure the growth of this Affiliate will increasingly confirm my fond regard for you personally.
