Le restituisco la bozza dello statuto del Comitato Italia Francia con alcune modificazioni ed aggiunte che mi sembrano necessarie; sia tanto cortese di mostrarle al
Articolo 5° - A me sembra che l’appellativo di patrocinatori significhi assai più di quello di benemeriti ed è per tale ragione che ho scambiato le due parole nelle categorie A) e C).
Articolo 7° - Non mi sembra giusto che i Soci aderenti abbiano voto in sede delle Assemblee e ancor più che sieno eleggibili alle cariche sociali; se l’articolo 7° rimanesse così com’è ci vorrebbe davvero una troppo forte dose di italo-francesismo per non inscriversi alla sola categoria dei Soci aderenti!
Articolo 8° - Ho aggiunto tale articolo che credo indispensabile a chiarire gli obblighi delle varie categorie dei Soci nei limiti del tempo.
Articolo 10° - Mi sembra necessario di stabilire quanti membri del Consiglio di Direzione debbano intervenire a una riunione di prima convocazione perché essa sia valida.

I am returning the draft of the charter for the Italy-France Cooperative Committee with various modifications and additions that I feel are necessary; please be so kind as to submit them to Senator Della Torre for approval.
Article 5 - It seems to me that the appellation "patron" means considerably more than "supporter", and I have consequently exchanged the two words in categories A) and C).
Article 7 - I do not find it appropriate that the Subscribing Members should have the right to vote in the Meetings, and still less that they should be eligible for election to any office; if article 7 were to remain as it is, one would hardly be encouraged to join the Italo-French cause as more than a simple Subscriber!
Article 8 - I have added this article, which I believe to be an indispensable clarification of the responsibilities of the various categories of Members according to the time they have available.
Article 10 - It seems necessary to establish how many members of the Board of Directors must be present at an initial convocation of the members for the meeting to be valid.
I also include a letter from Comm. Bocca of Turin, which I do not deign worthy of my response, but which should be most carefully preserved in our archives as a petty testament of the mentality of our Piedmontese brethren in this glorious period of Italian history.
