He graduated in song and cello at the Real College of Music in Naples. He made his debut in 1891 at the Vittorio Emanuele in Messina as Faust. In 1892 he was Peppe in the first absolute of Pagliacci at the Dal Verme in Milan. In 1910 he moved to the United States and he withdrew him in 1920 opening a school of song in Chicago. In 1938 he returned on the stage as Bricoleur in the Louise at the Civic Opera in Chicago.
