Sig. Ing. Tito Ricordi

   Director of the Workshops

      City

With your letter of 28 January past you announced to us that the Erba account would soon be liquidated. It has been two and a half months and we are still waiting!! We believe it is superfluous to call your attention to the abnormality of this fact, which, while causing serious damage to the Administration because of the double interest that has been lost, both for money that has been anticipated and what has not been collected, leads us to believe that the Administration of the Workshops suffers from decidedly irregular management. In fact it is highly irregular, to put it mildly, that five or six months must pass before printing accounts for outside clients are liquidated, no matter what the importance of the Accounts themselves. And just as the Erba account is deplorably overdue, the same can be said for all other third-party printing work that has been done.

In your aforementioned letter you promised the liquidation of the Erba account, at least regarding all of '91, for the following week!!... How many weeks have since gone by, all to no avail?... Had personal considerations not prevented us from expressing our justified irritation, it is certain that we would have been forced to undertake severe measures, and any other director would have suffered the consequences.

We therefore absolutely urge you to bring the administration of the Workshops up to date immediately, to regulate all of the outstanding accounts due, and to remedy any deficiencies in how things are managed by the administration without delay.

We also intend with this letter to recommend that the greatest possible savings be observed with regard to expenses, restricting purchases within the most stringent economical limits, and reducing weekly costs as soon as the occasion presents itself.

With this closing expression of our deepest disappointment for everything that has been addressed above, we remain
