Dear Sir
Many thanks for your letter of July 21st. I have been away for a few days, otherwise I would have answered it sooner.
It is really more than kind of you to send me another set of the scores which were sent to London & I am very sorry to have caused you so much trouble. I am very much looking forward to the arrival here of these Italian works & shall be much interested in looking thro them.
I shall perform Respighi’s “Fountains of Rome” next season at the Liverpool Philharmonic concerts & de Sabata’s “Iuventus” at my London Philharmonic concerts.
I hope however to find amongst your kind present several more works which I can perform in America on my tour there this winter.
Again thanking you very much.
I remain
Yours faithfully
Albert Coates
