Per un assoluto dovere di coscienza, devo radunare i S.ri Consiglieri di Vigilanza ad una seduta per dopodomani, alla quale ho pregato di assistere l’
I due punti che trattennero il Consiglio dal continuare per ora le trattative sono ora esclusi: non è ormai che una quistione di valutazioni. Mi spiace disturbarla, mi spiace insistere, ma il tempo stringe. Si tratta di un grande affare, che può prendere uno sviluppo immenso = mi sentirei avvilito lasciandolo cadere, senza prima avere fatto ciò che sento mio dovere pel bene futuro della nostra Azienda. Inutile dire quanto desideri la di Lei presenza. Con tutta considerazione.

Strictly as a matter of conscience, I must call for a meeting of the members of the Board of Oversight for the day after tomorrow, which I have invited Avv. Sonzogno to attend. It will not be official, nor will it involve any committment, but I do not want to assume responsibility for refusing this business proposal without the two parties having discussed it first.
The two obstacles that prevented the Committee from continuing negotiations for the time being have now been eliminated, and nothing remains but a question of financial due diligence. I am sorry to disturb you and to insist so, but time is of the essence. We are dealing with an important business matter that has the potential for enormous development, and I would be mortified if I left it to die without first having done what I feel is my duty for the future well-being of the Firm. I need not tell you how much I desire that you be present. With my best regards.
