Le confermo colla presente quanto ho avuto l’onore di comunicarle quest’oggi e cioè che, a partire dal corrente Esercizio 1912-13 - oltre al mensile ordinario e alla regalia straordinaria di fine d’anno solare - Ella percepirà le seguenti percentuali sul reddito netto di ciascun Bilancio:
il due per cento sul reddito netto, se questo non oltrepassa le £ 300.000- (lire trecentomila) il due e mezzo per cento sul reddito netto superiore alle £ 300.000- (lire trecentomila) sino alla somma di £ 500.000- (lire cinquecentomila)
il due per cento sul reddito netto superiore alle £ 500.000- (lire cinquecentomila) sino alla somma di £ 700.000- (lire settecentomila)
l’uno e mezzo per cento sul reddito netto inferiore alle £ 700.000- (lire settecentomila).
Il miglioramento sensibile delle di lei attuali condizioni le sia prova della stima e della considerazione nelle quali io la tengo e della fiducia che il di lei operare sarà proficuo agli interessi vitali della Ditta.

With the present I confirm what I have already had the honor to communicate to you today, which is that, beginning from the current Fiscal Year 1912-13 — beyond your regular monthly stipend and end-of-calendar-year bonus — you will receive the following percentages of net profits based on the Company's yearly Financial Statement:
Two percent of net income up to and not exceeding £ 300,000- (three hundred thousand lire); two and a half percent of net income over £ 300,000- (three hundred thousand lire) up to £ 500,000- (five hundred thousand lire);
two percent of net income above £ 500,000- (five hundred thousand lire) up to £ 700.000- (seven hundred thousand);
one and a half percent of net income below [sic] £ 700,000- (seven hundred thousand).
May this substantial improvement to your current situation be testimony of the consideration and respect I have for you, and of my confidence that your work will be profitable to the vital interests of the Company.
