Caro Renato,

        Ecco, quanto mi scrive il Sigr Colombo, procuratore della nostra Ditta, richiamato quale Sergente al II° Alpini. Indirizzo a te la fotografia non sapendo chi dirige la “Domenica del Corriere” dopo la morte del povero Centelli – forse troverai interessante il documento e lo farai pubblicare.

Dear Renato,

   Here is the message I received from Sig. Colombo, the legal representative of our Company, who was called up as Sergeant in the 2nd regiment of the Alpini. I am sending you the photograph because I do not know who directs the "Domenica del Corriere" now following the death of poor Centelli — perhaps you'll find the document interesting and will have it published.
