your letter of the 11 Jan. just to hand. Evidently delayed somewhere. So I hasten to acknowledge receipt thereof and thank you cordially for your considerate decision regarding the above. I will write more fully in a few days time (am “snowed up” with work). Meantime please rest assured that I shall bear in mind your instructions regarding the length of the booklet, and that it will not imply a complete new engraving.
